Spin Master CEO Max Rangel Bio

Max Rangel was appointed Global President of Spin Master in January 2021 and became Global President & CEO in April 2021. He is responsible for the execution of the Company’s long-term strategy and leading day-to-day operations. Max is a results-driven global C-Suite executive with 30 years in CPG with P&G, Hershey and SC Johnson & Sons. Max’s career has spanned operating roles in North America, Latin America, Asia, Middle East and Europe, as well as global strategic roles in the headquarters for all three companies.

Prior to joining Spin Master, Max most recently served as SC Johnson & Sons’ Officer leading Strategic Expansion of the Lifestyle Brands’ portfolio across Asia, Europe, Latin America and Canada. Prior to this role, Max led the Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East and Turkey/Russia regions for the company’s core brands. Before SC Johnson & Son’s, Max led the Global Chocolate category at The Hershey Company. Prior to Hershey, Max joined Procter & Gamble in 1990 and had a distinguished 22-year career in general management, marketing, and supply chain across North America, Latin America and Asia. Throughout his career, Max has been focused on strategy development and implementation, portfolio and brand management, brand innovation and marketing, multi-channel commercial strategy, and talent development.

Max has served on a variety of boards around the world including Break the Ceiling Touch the Sky, a global platform to nurture Women Advancement, the National Confectioners Association Chocolate Council in Washington, DC and the Taipei Youth Programs Association in Taiwan. Max is also a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s.

A graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Master of Business Administration, Max also holds executive education in Mergers and Acquisitions from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
