People are overall friendly and helpful. We have good corporate values in theory.

We're bad at interfacing with customers and we're bad with sales. We're not great at experimenting.

Splunk has fallen behind the industry in pay, and they intend to stay behind if not reduce pay further.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The interview process is not standardized and is slow. We can't hire top talent without a consistent benchmark. Plus the slow and confusing process deters lots of potential candidates.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is senior in level of experience and knowledgeable. They are friendly and helpful. However I notice other teams and other managers have a plenty of stubbornly prideful people, people incapable of recognizing their own mistakes due to arrogance.
