Overall have really enjoyed working at Squarespace so far. It's early days still, but I do seem to vibe well with my colleagues, enjoy the work, and am excited about the mission.

It's going through a transformation, and I love that. But the expectations of that are high and not consistently applied across the board.

More money, a different structure (like a bonus), and something better than options.

Solving problems, learning about what's happening, and seeing the impact my work is making.

Being able to solve new problems and learn new things. Getting excited about helping our customers and being able to expand how we support them as a company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It would be helpful to have a recognition and bonus program. I also would like to have known my level before coming in. I think the salary was in market range but would have appreciated having more for total comp.
