Executive Bio

Ms. Belinda Wong has been the Chief Executive Officer of Starbucks China at Starbucks Corporation since October 19, 2016. Ms. Wong joined Starbucks in January 2000 and has held a number of leadership roles across the Starbucks China and Asia Pacific region. She started her career with Starbucks as marketing director for the Asia Pacific region, where she served in brand and category management as well as marketing, public relations and corporate social responsibility. She also worked as managing director of Starbucks Coffee Singapore, where she and her leadership team led a successful turnaround of the market. She also served as general manager of the Starbucks business in Hong Kong and managed the company's business strategy, brand development and operations. Before joining Starbucks, Ms. Wong was the marketing manager of McDonald's China Development Company, where she was responsible for formulating marketing strategies and plans for the China market. Ms. Wong holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in finance from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
