Executive Bio

Mr. Jason Dunlop has been Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Starbucks Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Starbucks Corporation since October 24, 2017. Mr. Dunlop is responsible for all aspects of the brand's retail operations across the 2,750 stores and 41 countries that comprise the Starbucks' EMEA business, as well as Starbucks relationships with its many licensed operators in the region. Since joining Starbucks in the summer of 2016, he has worked to revolutionize the Starbucks' regional retail strategy, bringing a centralized, rigorous and partner-first approach ' all with a keen eye toward delivering a consistent, elevated Starbucks Experience to customers in EMEA. Mr. Dunlop served as Vice President of Licensed Operations EMEA, where he supported Starbucks regional licensee partners and drove operational excellence across all Starbucks licensed retail formats. During that time, he developed a deep understanding of Starbucks potential as a world-class licensor, a concept that remains central to his vision in growing the retail business in EMEA. Mr. Dunlop joined Starbucks from Nike, where he most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of Europe, responsible for all Nike Stores, Nike Factory Stores and franchised stores. At Nike, he also was responsible for developing and launching the Nike.com digital business for Europe. Mr. Dunlop has a wealth of international retail experience, leading teams across geographies and sectors during stints with The Body Shop and Marks & Spencer. He began his retail career at Gap Inc.
