Executive Bio

Ms. Pam Greer serves as Senior Vice President of Global Strategy, Insights and Analytics at Starbucks Corporation. Ms. Greer supports enterprise decision making through insights, analytics and measurement designed to optimize partner (employee) experience, customer experience and business performance. Her passion is working with Starbucks global leadership team to solve big challenges, leveraging insights gleaned from methodologies ranging from ethnography to big data analytics. She and her team synthesize varied approaches into a single insights narrative that helps support Starbucks pricing strategy, real estate development planning, product development, trade promotion optimization and marketing strategy. Prior to joining Starbucks in 2011, her insights career took her from Leo Burnett, to Universal Studios, Perks.com, The Walt Disney Company and Mattel. Along the way she held a chance to work with respected brands and connect with millions of consumers who had shared their opinions through surveys and let her into their homes for deep conversations about their lives. She serves on the Board of Directors at Special Olympics Washington and on the executive advisory board of the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, Center for Sales and Marketing Strategy. She has a B.A. in sociology and government from Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin and an M.A. in political science from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
