State Farm Insurance Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Base salary is fair and every employee gets an opportunity to earn bonuses based on performance. This is not limited to executive or just sales like many companies.

Salary, Bonus and Benefits are great!

Review from Legal Dept

My wages are the best part.

Education and 401k. That is it

Being able to use vacation time

Health insurance and 401k package

Review from Customer Success Dept

Salary and retirement options provided

Renewals and the unlimited growth potential

The employee benefits, tuition assistance and competitive pay.

The health insurance. They deliberatley mislead newhires just to give lower pay that what the job worth

As an agent, income is essentially unlimited

Life insurance is offered free of charge.

The bonus and the benefit package is not too expensive!

I get paid a very good wage.

Medical is good and virtual care options

Review from Customer Support Dept

Health Insurance bad. Could be better

Healthcare benefits are the best

Bonuses and health insurance plan

Pto and life leave days

EIP bonus based on company performance

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

A raise would be nice

California cost of living has out passed employee pay

Treat people with the respect and dignity that we deserve!

The company needs a higher focus on proper training for the position and better management that focuses on quality over quantity. State Farm also pays an extremely uncompetitive rate and yet expects employees to work mandatory overtime and complete tasks outside of their daily job duties regularly.

They pay the lowest of any company in the industry. The benefits have a high deductible and for people making barely above minimum wage we are the working poor.

I'd prefer to have less work or more money. There's a diagram of not being able to get high quality, in a short amount of time for free. You get to pick a combination of the two, but never three.

Benefits, more PTO and sick time

We now have to primarily manage the mismanagement of upper management, but they still get paid for us to do their jobs and babysit them. We dont get paid to do their jobs. Agent offices should be compensated to have to do the work that corporate is no longer doing and is placing on us.

Review from Sales Dept

Substantially more pay or substantially less responsibility

Executives outpace generally staff for less work and less experience in the actual industry.

We make barely above minimum wage. This is a comolicated job and the pay needs to be increased by 20%.

Barely enough to live poor pay

The rate of pay is lower than other comparable companies

yes. I work directly as an executive consultant and get paid a lot less compared to other roles with less responsibilities.

Decent healthcare coverage, more than minimum payment for salary

To be paid the same as other insurance companies pay their employees

Not going on the intrnet home page, to see whos got big bonuses, while im shopping the off brand section.

I am constantly belittled by being placed in a box with lesser employees solely for management's ease in holding me to metrics they don't understand themselves.

Turning a skilled job, into a call center through failed automation.

Im paying out of pocket to give your customers good service. Where the hell is that "good neighbor bull"
