I've only been here a small amount of time, but it's refreshing how kind and supportive everyone is. It is a stark difference from my last job. It feels less corporate while still being a big step up in my career. I also appreciate the free education!

disappointing disney direction changed and leadership woes

It is truly awful - worst place I've worked.

I teach underprepared students online. They are taking college courses but they have trouble reading and writing.

They listen to the team

The leadership team is kind, the type of kind that a teacher that cares about their students are. Granted, they also instruct on certain skills, so it is not uncommon that they fit that archetype.

Free education for any of the programs

Educational benefit is top notch.

I accepted a promotion and offer leader and was never granted the raise and later found out I was being paid less than half of my counterparts despite turning around a failing campus.

For the amount of work we do - and abuse we receive - we are not paid fairly.

I am paid per course. The number of students per course has nearly doubled but my salary has not.

I love how relaxed everyone is around each other. We're not afraid to teach both students and other employees.

I like the unendless support to get more of an education here.

They grade fairly and I was able to be hired by being myself.

I was promoted several times and sat for different interviews, incluing w/ the CEO. Strayer likes targeted selection if you'd like to be prepared. As a hiring manager, I was eventually trained fairly well in targeted selection interviewing and see the forumalic structure of each of my interviews

I like that my work schedule is lax, I get a much better sleep schedule instead of waking up extremely early in the morning.

There are too many underprepared students. They should have some help with reading and writing before they take any other courses. That would increase the number of students who can pass the later courses.
