Neeraj K. Mehta — Executive VP, Chief Commercial Officer & CEO of Payment Solutions at Synchrony

Mr. Neeraj Mehta has been Executive Vice President, Chief Executive Officer of Payment Solutions and Chief Commercial Officer at Synchrony Financial since January 1, 2018. Mr. Mehta served as an Executive Vice President of Business Strategy & Development at Synchrony Financial until January 1, 2018. Most recently, Mr. Mehta served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) where he launched several new products to meet customer needs, increasing operating income and assets over his tenure. Mr. Mehta served as Vice President of Bank Loans at GE Capital since August 19, 2010. Mr. Mehta served as Vice President of Bank Loans at General Electric Co. since August 2010. He served as President of Bank Loan Group of GE Capital, Americas since December 2007. He joined GE in 1996. Mr. Mehta served as the Managing Director of General Electric Co., since March 15, 2006, with responsibility for acquiring participations in par bank loans and for related secondary market investing activities. He served as senior executive for the Bank Loans group. He served as Senior Managing Director for GE Capital's Corporate Financial Services organization. Mr. Mehta served as the Managing Director of Bank Loans of GE Commercial Finance since March 15, 2006. He joined General Electric in 1996 and since then has held a number of positions in direct loan origination, securitizations, and more recently, in the capital markets area. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for European Secondary Markets. He is a member of Asian Pacific American Forum's Executive Council for GE. Mr. Mehta earned his Master's Degree in finance and banking from Syracuse University and received his Bachelor's Degree in social science from the University of California, Irvine.
