My career started as a frontline representative and I currently hold an assistant vice president role. My experience with leadership at all levels is consistent and I have always feel supported. Because of my experience I have gained the cultural awareness to pay it forward to those reporting to me.

Figure out what to do about not letting people have weekends off. At least offer a rotation. Listen to the employees who work on why can improve. Money isn't always the problem or the answer.

They need to pay a person what it is worth to do the job they're doing. They pay you your salary based off of what you were previously making. Doesn't matter that 16 people are doing the same job but there is a $40,000 difference in some of the salaries.

Aside from Health and 401k the time off balance

Benefits are good , salary is ok

Our benefits package is great and year over year it has even improve more through the voice of our employees!

I like the HMO ANd other reimbursements

Better 401k match and better hourly

We are sales people selling products and we get no commission. If we don't up sale we get written up but we get no bonus for the update. It's all hammer and no rewards. It's just here's a timed call they only want to make a payment but also ask them 20 mins of questions. Then,why was your call long?

Volume and level of work is greater than pay grade constantly and told that it is part of duties as assigned.

I work from home, I get a lot of second calls that others hurry thru and thetefore do not complete..work ethic

It's been 14 months that I joined synchrony, and I never had any bad experience nor anything which I felt like this is wrong, starting from the training everyone helped me a lot, let it be a trainer or a manager, it's just been an amazing experience I have had with Synchrony so far

Be more open minded and more honest about the company

Honesty and constructive, actionable feedback.

My initial interview 2 years ago was overall a pleasant experience, but it took over 2 months from phone screen to 2 onsite visits and getting the job offer. Because of the long lag time and slow response, I took a lower role from another company for a month until I got the job offer from Synchrony

After the initial phone interview, I had a telepresence interview which was actually very nice.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Customers tell us in 9/10 calls they don't like the ivr and it never gets addressed. Customers get asked the same up sale every call even after saying no 10 times. We still have to ask or be written up

Management expected too much from employees. Even though paid salary, treated like hourly employees and the work load and expectations were tremendous andnot obtainable.
