  • TE has a "dress for the day" policy that means you dress as appropriate for the work you have that day. If you work in an office and are in a meeting with external partners you may wear a suit or business casual; if you are in an office but just answering phones all day you may be wearing jeans.

  • TE has a flex work policy but at the base, it will depend on your role. If you work in production you obviously have to be there on campus. If you work a job that could be flexible then it is up to a discussion with you and your boss. Flex can mean some days in office/some days home; fully home for a period of time; longer hours some days and shorter hours others, etc. Lots of options, but if your role isn't suitable for a flex work situation then you likely won't be granted it.

  • It depends, varying on your job (is it possible to do from home?), level (non-exempt employees are typically required by state law to only clock hours in their place of employment) and your boss’s preference. I’m my experience, they have been reasonably flexible, especially during snow storms and other weather events.

  • In theory, Employees should have mid-year reviews and year-end reviews. In reality, many departments are too busy for a formal mid-year review. Managers are encouraged to meet with employees on a monthly basis in one on one meetings, if not more often. From what I have seen, most managers hold regular check in meetings 1 or 2x a month with their employees.

  • "Good job" are words you hear alot.
