Texas Instruments Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

20% profit sharing & yearly raises

it is fair with respect to market

It is competitive vs other teams and companies

TI pays extremely well, plus annual profit sharing.

They provide the needs of the workers.

PTO and the possibility to occasionally work remotely

Its average salary which you can expect

Profit charging is a great compensation.

The Employer contribution / Employee contribution ratio

There is a good bonus

Review from Engineering Dept

20% bonus once a year

I love that TI matches up to 4% of our Retirement contributions

stock purchase with 15% off discount

Excellent fair and very equitable

Review from Operations Dept

Vacation hours- health care-profit sharing

Pay and health care benefits.

The best part when we received our PF.

Bonus and Profit sharing is pretty good.

Family Healthcare coverage is an option and is affordable.

profit sharing and 401k match

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Recognize record high inflation! Cheap labor cannot survive.

Review from IT Dept

Pay is not as competitive as other IT companies and evaluation needs improvements

IT skills are largely underrated, as many have been replaced by contractors. Stock option compensation is almost non-existent.

Better compensation to those who reach productivity goals

Stock options or better outside

The payscales at TI are antiquated. Coming from Silicon Valley they expected people to take big pay cuts to move to Dallas, despite the fact that the cost of living in Dallas has been increasing at a nearly astronomical rate. They cannot attract the best and brightest to this dismal area.

Emphasizing a work/life balance would be nice

Competitive wages, more generous pto, guaranteed raises that exceed inflation. Prompt notification of time off approval (should not have to wait more than 2 weeks after request). Remove the limit on calling in sick. That's what time and is for. People get sick. The lack of trust is apparent.

Money without time is worthless. TI needs to allow employees to have time away from work. Current policy is employees are allowed to take time off as long as they still work on location, and available to attend meetings.

Volt takes a big percentage of what I should be getting. But the only way in the door in Dallas is thru them

No equity.. Underpaid compared to peers for the skills and responsibilities

Higher compensation for all the hours I put in to work. Work like balance at TI is poor, and TI will take from all employees whatever we will give

Review from Engineering Dept

Night shift compensation is 15%. Other places pay up to 25%. I never call in sick but there is no sick time. Has to come out of vacation time. Our health insurance options have been whittled down to one option and it sux.
