The BU's were done without regard to skills or aspirations. Teams lack mentorship, morale, and direction. Unhealthy competition w/in the BU's. The brand feels muddled. Difficult to get anything done quickly. Decisions are made by people not skilled to make them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love the company and how philanthropic we are. Most of the people are very encouraging and supportive.
What makes you most happy at work?
Feeling heard and being involved. Knowing my team will help and feeling like I can go to someone. Having a boss that understands my role. Feeling like people have more trust my expertise even though my role is subjective. Feel like I can take on a big task without people creating roadblocks.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Instead of creating roadblocks and saying no when interested in helping, nurture and encourage it. Don't make me feel judged if I make a mistake. Don't treat me like i'm beneath anyone. Listen to me. If I'm am no expert in a task I've been given, be supportive and don't set me up to fail.
