My overall experience is something that words can't explain, but I have learned a lot since I have been working here

My experience has been great so far

I have worked here for a little over a year in total and I love it. Coming from Disney, I was shocked to see how friendly and caring everyone in at such a luxury high end resort. I truly feel like this is a second home to me.

I love working at The Breakers. It has taught me so much and I have grown into a better person and love the opportunities I can have within this company.

I am extremely grateful for the Breakers and the opportunity it has provided me. While I feel there are areas of improvment that need to be addressed, overall, it has much to offer compared with other companies.

The kindness and appreication of staff

The care and investment that they put in the team as individuals. I can tell that they truly want me to succeed

They listen to me and help me on whatever I need and the goals I would like to accomplish. Also, it really is leadership because it's such an amazing team to be apart of.

Have never said no when I request days off.

I personally feel the 401k match is the best thing of my compensation package

Health insurance is great and the 6% match on the 401K.

I'm not feeling undervalued but what would make me feel better is a little increase on my pay or remove the tax from my tip

Zero work-life balance, difficult finding time to use PTO, and the work is thankless on top of lower than *needed* pay. My pay has relatively remained the same despite cost of living skyrocketing along with room rates. It feels a bit in poor taste to see room rates go up 20+% and pay increases at 6%

I think in my position specifically our compensation should be a little bit more. I believe this because we do a lot more than just our position. We often have to take on the work of other positions in our department when we are understaffed or don

The pay is underwhelming for valet, which I understand because its a tip-based job. However there should be a raise because people working for 20 years have the same pay as a new hire.

I feel undervalued due to the lack of income me and my coworkers have made while being out of season. We are expected to give the best service year round while are tips dont equate to the effort that is expected of us on a daily basis.

The best thing about my team is that they are very hard working

The friendliness and kindness that my team has for each other. They are some of the best coworkers ive had

I like how well we get along and we always have each others back and we always help each other out. I'm so blessed to be a part of this team.

The diversity is by far one of the best things about my team.

I feel that as a whole our department is undervalued and unappreicated for what we do.

We are not getting compensated fairly therefore it leads to my coworkers and i looking for new jobs. It feels like we are underappreciated and not heard when it comes to this and ither problems such as uniforms, breaks, and responsibilities.

Slow days are not enjoyable due to not making tips.
