I did not expect much from this job, being a standard entry-level retail role. The customers and co-workers were nice for the most part. The managers were terrible and needed to focus on running the store better and worry about more important problems.

What makes you most happy at work?

Good customer and co-worker relationships.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The way we work together definitely helps the store run better and helps us get things done.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The positivity comes from the majority of customers and good co-worker relationships. The store is also pretty clean.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Hiring more people and having an appropriate amount of people in each area: registers, on-floor, framing, parties, public events, etc.

What did you like most about the interview process?

They asked relevant questions and did not waste time. I did have to call them rather then them calling me however.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am paid the absolute minimum wage in my area, but am assigned the tasks of multiple employees. An extra $1-2 would be somewhat decent.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There is nothing to look forward too in terms of working and the pay is terrible. I get a lot of friendly interactions with customers, so I know good people shop here.
