Everyone here really cares and are masters at their craft. Most Nerds are willing to take the time to meet with you and help you learn and grow. Additionally, I'm excited to see the company continue their work with community orgs and continue to make the world a better place for all!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I really enjoy collaborating with all the Nerds here and the flexible PTO is a nice plus for work/life balance!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that they are visible in the office and my exec takes time to meet with almost everyone on their team to check-in.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Almost all the people on my team are so personable and we have so much fun together while we accomplish work projects. Additionally, I have space to be psychologically safe and have great trust in my teammates.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a non-billable employee, there seems to be less opportunities for growth (especially since I'm not doing directly client-related work) and therefore, it seems like there's less room to increase compensation. Even when I was doing work above my pay level, I still only received a 2-3% raise.
What makes you most happy at work?
My colleagues are some of the smartest people I know and I really learn a lot here in terms of growing our skills! It's a fun environment to work in, you just have to make sure you put yourself out there and really take every opportunity to make the most of it.
