Review from Engineering Dept

The work that I do is cool and interesting

Review from Marketing Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Leadership roles need to be reevaluated and held to a higher standard. Very little accountability is taken and important issues are rarely addressed

Review from HR Dept

Work isn't divided up fairly

Review from HR Dept

For customers we're just focusing on extractive microtransactions rather than improving the app. For employees the soul of the company feels like its gone. Perks like lunch are just highschool cafeteria food, and social events don't feel the same as they used to.

Review from Engineering Dept

Management encourages a toxic work culture of 16 hour work days, blocks promotions, approves time off then forces us to work to meet their deadlines anyways, and then are protected by their leadership because they do a good job of meeting deadlines, so no action is taken when complaints are made.

Review from Engineering Dept

Im not convinced leadership on my team is aware of the problems we face. Additionally, I am not convinced they would do anything about the problems if they were aware based on their history.

Review from Engineering Dept

no one asks or cares about timelines and deadlines , our OKRs keep changing every year , there is no strategy on what we want to achieve and how we want to achieve it

Review from Product Dept

The future looks bleak at times

Review from Engineering Dept

Bottleneck at leadership level which has slowed down progress and reduced innovation. Leadership needs to give autonomy to people below them while giving a vision for the product.

Review from Engineering Dept

I hate going into the office. I spend 90 minutes driving and 40 getting read - at least an hour of that would be spent working if I weren't going in 3x a week. It cuts into my productivity and I can see it

Review from Design Dept

There is little strategy at Tinder. Most teams are off doing their own thing, on top of an aging codebase.

Review from Product Dept

Expectations vs reality. Sometimes the expectation levels are too high and a lot of pressure is put on to 'fix things'. Discovering that dollars come before the safety of our members doesn't feel great. It's an under invested area. As well as customer service.

Review from Communications Dept

There is a lack of alignment across the leadership team and a lack of direction for all teams in general.

Review from Communications Dept

More resourcing for my department & work

Review from HR Dept

My work is incredibly monotonous

Review from Customer Support Dept

Revolving door of executive leadership. No product vision or execution.

Review from Product Dept

Too much leadership change, and often it feels like not for the better. Match Group and Tinder's goals don't always feel aligned, and there's no clear path to resolve the misalignment.

Review from Communications Dept

I don't think anyone looks forward to working.
