They seem very invested in not only Toast's product/service, but the employees & company culture.

Willingness to discuss ongoing problems
They care about their customers and really believe in the company's mission
I believe that the leadership team at Toast really cares about the people who work here, and it is great to see that everyone is aligned on our mission.

Transparancy and forward thinking leadership team
Review from Operations Dept
They are always on point.
Empathetic and encouraging work culture
The leadership is transparent, supportive, and caring. My manager is trustworthy and clearly cares about my growth and career goals. I worked for a much smaller company and never spoke to the CEO, even though we were in the office together. That is never the case at Toast.
Review from Customer Success Dept
They all display an awareness of the full scope of our business instead of hyperfocus on their individual targets.
They are transparent, consistent and genuinely fun humans to be around.
They are humble, open, mission driven, and very approachable and relatable.
The leadership team takes the necessary time to thank the company appropriately for the hard daily work that is being done.

Leadership is present and approachable
I feel so supported by our leaders- theyre very transparent!
Personal touch is very apparent. The leaders in the company actually (and proactively) listen, and actually ACT on the things they hear. Continual improvement and working as #OneTeam is not only promoted, but exemplified.
Review from Sales Dept
The leadership team is transparent and thoughtful. I always feel heard.
They are very transparent in all aspects of the business, good, bad, ugly, and future
Paying attention to their employee's concerns. Having a structure in place that is transparent and flexible. Actually spending time to train their leadership team members on how to manage suvvessfully.

Not happy at all. Looking.
Respecting women. Acknowledging their mistakes. Employee work life balance and training in general
Focus on work-life balance for employees. There are way too many projects in IT causing burnout of the employees.
DEI and closing the gap between what Toast says its culture is vs what it's actually like in real life
Review from HR Dept
Communication, transparency, hiring from within vs. externally.
Promotion from within. Less hiring from outside. Existing employees need mentoring, coaching, paths. You'd be surprised how one can rise to the challenges presented to them.
Review from Operations Dept
Ensuring managers as well as individual contributors are happy, and compensated either with options or salary commensurate with experience.
