Corporate unfair. People treated unfair and with disrespect. Alot of politics in the way things are ran.
Working together not letting someone struggle all day and laugh at them. Not labeling them as a problem but look at what they did to make this person act this way.

How does Treehouse Foods handle HR issues?
not very professional at all. The employee is meant to feel like they are "bothering" hr with trivial stuff. and it will always go in favor of the company
All business, personal issues are frowned upon. Will find ways to terminate even when they are at fault. I have seen it on more than one occasion.
Treehouse does everything for the company to come out favorably. Does not really care about the employee from my personal past experiences (more than one occasion) even when company is at fault. They look at issues at not being personal but business.
What's the best part of your job at Treehouse Foods?
I no longer work for Treehouse Foods. I was released due to a disability.
The employees in your group. They became your family because you spent more time with them than your own.

Casual dress at plant level, professional dress for Corporate positions and management poditions.

What's the work from home policy like at Treehouse Foods?
Not sure, but the QA Manager at my plant thinks working from home is great. Not sure how you can run a plant/QA dept from home.

What's the internship program like at Treehouse Foods?
I never Interned, have had interns In department under managers direction but the manager failed to instruct or give directions for other employees to assist the intern especially for special projects.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Treehouse Foods?
They acquired the company, had i known that the bottom line was all they cared about i would have left before getting injured, then suffered massive heart attack (worked thru the injury and heart episodes prior to the big one(worked 13 straight 12 hour days before it happened ). Was released after put on restrictions from doctors. They could care less about individuals.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Treehouse Foods?
Make it a little more personal instead of just business, to improve moral.
What part of Treehouse Foods's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Not sure anymore, but the speciality side had closed plants.

Ditect manager and several other heads of departments asking generdl questions.

Not involved but general questions about what you can bring to the company.
How much and how often do raises happen at Treehouse Foods?
Yearly but never what you are worth.
How common is it to switch departments or teams at Treehouse Foods?
Not very common but it does happen occasionally.
How do you feel about going to work at Treehouse Foods everyday?
I hated it. After treehouse acquired the business it was all about money and not about the people making them the money running the plant. People were very insignificant.

The only feed back you get is negative.
What kind of people succeed at Treehouse Foods?
People without knowledge of the products be produced, at least at the plant where I worked. I guess that is why it is now being closed after more than 50 years in business (not all under tredhouse).
How secure do you feel at your job at Treehouse Foods?
Not secure at all. I was given restrictions after another heart issue to reduce hours and physicsl attributes of the position. I was sent home becsuse they felt it was an undue hardship on the company. I no longer have a job with them.
How's the work pace at Treehouse Foods?
Fast paced as you have multiple jobs you are responsible for.
What are the team outings like at Treehouse Foods?
If there were any it was all business.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Treehouse Foods?
Treehouse becomes your social life. Work was always expected to come 1st above family and friends. The time when most people are taking vacations and enjoying the weather you were expectef to work 7 days 70 plus hours a week. If you had to take time off it was almost consideref a crime and the work load became heaverier. I was out on medical leave after heart surgery and was called many times for work questions. I believe they care very little for you and family and a social life.
