  • well they have 5 million chiefs for every 2.5 indians... guess it isn't too hard- if you are in the clique it helps.

  • Very hard. U have to have a degree just to get a asst. Supervisors job or have a family member who is upper management. It would be nice if Tyson had a program that would help folks with inside a plant that has been there for a while the chance to move up.

  • Not even 40 it’s upsetting a lot of the people who work here

  • The "vibe" truly depends on who is in leadership. Operations is not incredibly high pace as in some industries but there needs to be a sense of urgency to be successful. Depending on seniority an hourly TM might work 8-10 hours a day. Most Supervisors work 9-11 hours a day.

  • The interview process was a tag team type. I met with three Value Stream Managers over the phone. They chose to have me come in and interview face to face. Then I interviewed with the Operation Manager and the Shift Manager together, then with the Sanitation Manager, then with a tag team from HR. In between these interviews I was taken out to lunch by my future Manager. Approximately a week later I was called and given an offer.

  • They are great im one line one 2nd shift f p we all work together.But sometimes we help out line two because we may be done early or waiting for repairs ,but that everone does whatever they want to,walk off line say nothing take breaks all the time for as long as they want.Several of us have told or boss MR BOLAIN that we dont like the working on that line because to much talking and we get stuck over there covering for line 2s people while they done what ever
