Increasingly profit driven despite being a non-profit. The lack of parking for staff and patients is deplorable yet they dont care that someone leaves the care there simply over parking. They have the cash so a new garage should have beem built years ago.
What makes you most happy at work?
My patients and my coworkers.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like their business acumen, but it is overly aggressive in the community.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Maintain contact with applicants. If a position is filled, out of courtesy to those who applied UC Health should contact the ones who didnt get the job by a simple letter.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Given the wealth of UC Health, there's no reason they cant be the highest payer in the area. They would attract bright individuals who would stay there. They see employees as an expendable resource and simply find new employees to fill the vacancies left by the talented, dedi ated people.
