UCHealth Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They are approachable and personable. They get us what we need to care for patients.

Nothing ... uchealth just throws someone in the role , overworks them and then burnout

Review from Customer Support Dept · Posted 19 days ago

They seem to be involved in the team

Review from Operations Dept

They try to make it seem that they are engaged.

Smart people, but sort of pre-occupied with their own problems. Not super great at actually leading others

Review from IT Dept

Approachability of the team is unlike anything I have seen before

"Profits over people" is how they operate and it shows.

The open door policy and the administrative fellows are approachable

My direct manager and director are fantastic leaders. The upper execs though seem disconnected from the reality here of dissatisfaction.

They work very hard and try to communicate changes

They listen to us about things to do, to improve the company, and the care of patients.

They keep us informed of upcoming events

Review from Customer Success Dept

My specific unit leadership, no one else, is the reason I stay and the reason I feel valued and enjoy what I do.

The low level managers jump in to help often and are absolutely great. Upper level are friendly and approachable, but nothing ever seems to get better in spite of all of the employee satisfaction surveys.

Dedication to the patients and clinical enterprise

All they care about is the bottom line.

My manager and ANM are approachable and easy to talk to, they go the extra mile to help the team succeed, and care about their unit.

Review from Operations Dept

Being in health care right now is hard. Senior leaders have a lot to balance to support employees while ensuring the success of the organization. They are open and honest about hard decisions. I appreciate their transparency.

Fun, inspiring leadership makes coming to work great

They actually know who I am. They take the initiative to get to know all of their employees.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening to their employees on the ground floor and not having bonuses they get for understaffing us.

Actually doing better for their employees. "Patient centered care" is unrealistic due to the constant blocks on schedules, the short time allotted for appointments. Hard to be happy every day when being paid like a fast-food employee with x4 the responsibilities

Managing,;process improvement, communication, operations analysis, etc.

Using core values and doing their job properly in order to help the rest of us succeed.

Listening and including others. Actually fixing problems, not covering them up. Realize it is ok to say we made a mistake, correct it and move on. Stop prioritizing the C suite and focus on those that actually do the work

Being in touch with employees

Managing. Some of you guys really meed to take a modern management class. You are managing other humans, at least act like one

Review from Customer Support Dept

defending employees from poor wages and over work

They just need to go

not lying, floating people constantly

Working to improve the morale and satisfaction of the employees. Get the staff that is needed to care for the patients and pay the employees properly instead of paying the executives huge bonuses. UCHealth is too top heavy.

Treating employees fairly, stop being so focused on numbers and money only while masquerating behind a mission statement that they don’t actually execut

PAY YOUR WORKERS WHAT THEY DESERVE

Being connected with what is really going on at the bedside and actually helping the people who actually provide direct patient care.

The leadership should be a strong doctors advocate, they should give doctors more autonomy and they should stop treating this purely as a bussiness.

administration can not function well

Less ego more leading people.

Review from Operations Dept

Valuing nurses and not just seeing them as an expense

Review from Operations Dept

Actually caring about clinical needs and not obsessed with how good they look to regulatory agencies.

Review from Operations Dept

Value your physicians, give physicians autonomy, stop running this strictly as a business !
