UCHealth Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Being heard and not following metrics just for the sake of metrics but to see how we can help our patients and our team both

Review from Operations Dept

Good Providers, Clean, positive peaceful suite

Coworkers are the best. We have a great tram

Individual clinics work well, despite constraints from senior management

It's a positive environment and the work isn't difficult

Review from IT Dept

Co-workers and helping patients get better

People genuinely look out for each other.

Review from Operations Dept

Some of the immediate co-workers & the staff of other departments. Leadership & management are no good!

The most positive aspect is the flexibility of work schedules.

Coworkers ate supportive and help each other

Inclusivity, and clarity of communication.

Concerns are generally listened to (though not necessarily addressed).

My team is the only reason I stay

Encouraging one another and helping one another to get through the day

Learning, teamwork, variety of patients

Everyone shares similar positivity and work ethic

The people are amazing !

Teamwork and having eachothers back

Every person I work with actively lives the mission, vision, and values of the company.

Team oriented and supportive group.

Review from Operations Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Staff needs to be compensated/taken care of better

De-emphasize expansion, stop making every leadership position a director, reinvest in team leads, supervisors, and the average worker.

Pay us More money will fix anything.

The UCHealth system is very toxic, and there is a huge disconnect between the executives and the staff. It is very "friend" oriented with no way to move up or around because if you are not a friend of the directors, and managers then you are stuck where you are where they only promote each other.

Our unit is a very toxic environment as far as the surgical team that believes they know more than any other team or physician on the planet. Some of the things we do are borderline unethical and immoral, but when they make the hospital money, the hospital turns a blinds eye.

BETTER PAY, SAFE WORK CONDITIONS

A complete shift ......to Really focusing on patient safety and patient care by safe staffing ratios and nurse retention , and all healthcare staff retention through better pay, working conditions.

true inclusiveness, appreciation for diversity, acceptance of personal beliefs, not forcing political agenda on employees

They should care more about their best employees and be preoccupied to keep them happy, so that they don't leave.

Unfortunately I have been doing this (physician) for too long to hope that it will ever get better. All I can hope for is early retirement and not to get compassion fatigue due to the way my job is treating me.

coworkers complainingabout condtions rules equipment

Accountability for executives so they can't treat people like dirt.

Review from Operations Dept

Showing nurses they are valued through more ways than pizza parties when staffing is poor

Review from Operations Dept

Provide recognition from the administration.

Review from Customer Success Dept

We need quality help. People that come in to work not have a coffee party when they get there.

Review from Admin Dept

better management that won't favor one person over another

Review from Customer Support Dept

better training for managers to learn how to be a people person not a corporate machine

Review from Customer Support Dept

No one feels listened to here.

Review from Operations Dept

Proper staffing for the amount of work required, parity of compensation across the regions.

Get a clear message. Are we growing or retracting. We hire new executives monthly yet regular employees get RIFd
