How are layoffs handled in the Sales department at UiPath?
Top Employee Response
No one likes to be laid off, myself and my former colleagues included. That being said, it was handled fairly. The biggest disappointment was the separation package which was a pittance.
Very Bad, 30% was laid off within 1 hour of the CEO's announcement. The severance package is extremely poor.
Pretty poorly. They promise a lot and then you end up with this tiny region and they change the commission plans constantly. Then they axe you out of nowhere.

Generally they're great fun and very energizing. I work from home and am always happy to meet the team. Outings are inevitably helpful (get things done) but also fun (nice meal and a few beers)
Tons of fun
I have not participated. I am remote. I hear good things.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at UiPath?
I think both new employees and the people who got us here have a role to play. Respect the culture, drive the culture, respect each other. Fix the entrance test for roles who really should not have to take it. I think this is a bit of a hangover for some roles.
Make sure every new hire shares the same passion for the place like the early adopters do
Optimize Slack! As a globally diversified company, tool's like Slack are integral to cross state & geo communications. It would be fun to have an incentive program around slack activity, # of qualified reply's/questions. Today, posting to Slack is somewhat intimidating - having to put your name on the line, in fear of no-one responding. We should communicate Slack best practices and encourage high contribution at a global scale.
How does UiPath handle HR issues?
Respectfully and directly
HR is pretty proactive but tends to ensure all views are represented prior to taking any action.

As a male, and as an exec, at least business smart. Neat shoes, slacks, sport coat with dress shirt. No jeans, no tie required. For more internal tech roles, probably jeans and a tee shirt (no food stains)
I suggest always dressing at least business casual for interviews. Even if you want to be the Lead Janitor.
Casual clothing - jeans and a informal shirt
