The don't just speak about transparency... they actively practice it
in 2020 they were all willing to take a pay cut instead of making the lower employees do the same or worse, lay them off.
Actually worked in their field
Very professional and insightful. They care about their direct reports and see them as individuals.
Review from Admin Dept
Easy to communicate with. Although they or he has little control over our concerns.
Actually caring about the people that work under them. Treating them like people instead of machines.
Listening to people instead of ignoring them.
They musy treat employeers better.
Addressing the needs of the employees. Creating a better work/life balance. Creating a compensation/advancement plan that actually rewards employees rather than keeping the status quo. Overall visibility by all levels of management. Supplying employees with what they need to do their jobs well.
commission, respect for teamwork, a
Insurance for family of 4
profit sharing, and the benefits
Fair base pay, opportunity to earn more with shift differential, overtime, etc., and affordable health insurance.
Medical & STD are pretty competitive.
There are several options and benefits to choose from.
Review from Operations Dept
My depatment is at the lowest point it could be at. Treated like we're 'not that important', no real sppreciation. The customers appreciate us more than anyone in administration.
Loss of union rights. Have lost too many benefits for years
They decreased PTO. Raises have never kept pace with inflation.
Paying a living wage in a city that is increasingly expensive
Profit centered for administration only. No care for staff shortages and safety
Hardworking, dedicated and professional, but not valued unfortunate.
we help each other out and, in the end, will always have each other's back
Good people who care about their patients
We all get along well and work good together.
They try to help each others
Attitudes and some display narcissistic behavior. It wears on you after years go by.
We work well in a team but there is always drama with rumors.
Review from Operations Dept
Lack of communication and commitment
we do enjoy time together in and outside of work.
People are great and willing to help
Nothing, i just go to work and get the job done
Review from Operations Dept
The camaraderie we have together.
There has been a movement for change in leadership, but the pace and overall uptake seem to be lacking. The method is also multiple ideas taken from other successful businesses with a fancy new branding. Not sure how our management got to where they are without what is being taught currently.
Patient focused, merit based incentives, better staffing
People are struggling wveryday sometines 5-6 nurses down
Start respecting your employees and give them raises that are reflective of their work, not the standard .42 cents that you give to all.
Fairer wage increases. More staff. More appreciation from the organization. Bring back staff meals for holidays. Bring back appreciation-"hero's work here" signs dont cut it
I really don't how, its so far gone. Its bad when your personal doctor/provider is complaining about the company during your office visit that I paid a copay for.
Review from Admin Dept
When I was first interviewed it was in person and very welcoming
The person who interviewed me had actually worked in my current position and was very kind and informative.
This was so long ago I have no idea
I was a new hire right out of school and was just glad to be hired at the place I did my internship at 12 yrs ago.
Review from Admin Dept
It was very conversational. Nobody was trying to trick me.
Review from Operations Dept
Explaining benefits avaiilable and reasons to work at UW Health
Needs to be more friendly
Unethical promotion practices and major favoritism
Stop being fake nice. If you know you're not going to hire me right then, just tell me. Geeze.
going home from work at the end
Being able to do my job to the best of my ability without the constant hovering or criticism of upper management, (checking percentages of how many times a bp was taken twice)
The people i work with
Working as a team to help patients
Helping patients every day like we do.
Access issues and nit having better representation of diverse primary care doctors
already discussed with HR, but their hands are tied
Review from Admin Dept
I hate the people. They're all so fake.
See previous comments. Lack of focus and priotitization. Strategic plan has too many projects, and new things are added. Put the focus back on the patient and value our front line.
Review from Admin Dept
Rarely positive, constructive feedback. Usually hear only when something goes wrong--crisis mode.
Review from Operations Dept
Leadership. More focus on the community and the staff.
