Vans Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Life insurance and medical value for myself and my spouse

I haven't got mine yet

50% off vans apparel is very cool.

to provide nice things for myself and for other people

Everything is great nothing specific

I guess the only thing that is good is the discount

The 401K benefit and health insureance.

I get paid $16.69 per hour as a sales associate in Seattle.

I love my employee discount because I wore a lot of Vans apparel before working there and now I get to enjoy more apparel and shoes

The discounts are nice, if I was full time the benefits would be awesome but unfortunately since I'm part time I do not receive any of them besides the half off discount.

Review from Sales Dept

The whole compensation package was good compared to others

Review from Design Dept

It's cool and funand I get paid well

Review from Design Dept

Amazing company benefits and good pay

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

This company uses human lives as an asset and tosses away hardworking people like trash on a whim, even when they're the salespeople with the highest rate. Pathetic.

give me the promotion i deserve

Better communication, talk of growth and development but no real follow up

I designed a fabulous pair of customs that were selected for retail and have several more ideas and have not been compensated.

Review from Design Dept

If i got paid on time and compemsation for the wait

Having a variety of work clothes is hard to achieve when the discount isn't very good. I would at least want to be paid more or have a better discount for work clothes.

When the new hires and employees whom haven't been at this establishment longer than I have are getting paid more. Many of the employees, including myself, have been forgotten when it comes to shoe certificates or other benefits.

Getting paid fairly, getting fair hours

Review from Sales Dept

I think being paid minimum for a job that can be very stressful is unfair. Also, considering the amount the company makes, I would think it would be able to pay its employees higher than minimum wage, especially if employees have been working there for a while.

Review from Sales Dept

Having good insurance benefits and paid more.
