I feel fairly compensated at Vitas.
The additional working incentives, the ability to work overtime, and the shift differentials.
Pto and bonus and promotion
it is fair and based on merit
PTO used for everything and lack of repect
To be payed for the job i do
the rate of pay in my field is much higher than what VITAS is willing to pay.
My opinion does not matter, communication back is void, pay rate very low
Compensation is poor and way below national average.
Higher salary, we are set at median for the area
More staff, better pay, and definitely need better insurance. Hourly pay for field staff not salary.
Pay field staff hourly not salary. Salaried employees ( most not a few) are working nights and weekends to catch up on the unrealistic paperwork. Hourly pay and electronic charting would help. Value your staff and patients not the census numbers. The health insurance is the worst I've ever seen!!
I feel undervalued because I continue to be placed in work place bullying situations with the GM, TM, Business Manger and Regional HR Representative. It would be nice to get annual cost of living raises. But more important than the raise is being treated respectively and with fairness appreciatio.
They do not pay competitively enough
Better wage increase to staff
Feeling undervalued is an understatement. Better compensation by offering better benefits and not making people work as mules.

We were given 40 hours PTO for dealing with COVID, which was nice. Health, dental, vision are all expensive with very high deductibles.
Yes as far as the pay
Commission structure is weak and based around a market completely different from other areas of the country. Leadership indicates it is perpetually out of touch with realities and disparities of various markets
Being heard in the first place, then reviewing to find out what they can improve in terms of benefits.

Being paid for the time and resources I put into my position
I work for a healthcare company come and they give the worst health benefits I've ever had in my life. I have thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills every year, and I work for a healthcare company which espouses to be benevolent in our truistic in all their doings. It is a company full

The raises if any are not much to notice you have had a raise. The management appreciation is not for real and you can feel the phony thank yous for what you do.
