What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership is supportive and available to staff.
They motivate the team keeping spirits high
Little interaction with them making it hard to justify a response.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I feel fairly compensated at Vitas.
The additional working incentives, the ability to work overtime, and the shift differentials.
Pto and bonus and promotion
it is fair and based on merit
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
PTO used for everything and lack of repect
To be payed for the job i do
the rate of pay in my field is much higher than what VITAS is willing to pay.
My opinion does not matter, communication back is void, pay rate very low
Compensation is poor and way below national average.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is amazing and supportive.
The field staff and patients
Quickly mesh into fun working relationships. Excellent group of people.
We work together, we all get along, and we all have the same mission.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
New hires are not trained and quit
Never attend beome the staffs of all level not geniue
better training and the willingness to group together for adressing issues
People are two faced,smiling at you and putting knives in your back to your manager. Most are strategic to know how to do as less as possible. Making themselves not seen.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We truly take care of each other.
We reward hard work, and we incentive where we can to make everyone happy and to ensure the job gets done.
the people although in my current position, i do not have any professional interactions
stressful environment where no one really listens or pays attention
Friendly and supportive, doctors educate us and trust us
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Replace "all of mangement with ones that know what they are doing.
Management needs to care about their employees that's keeping them on top. pay better for the long hours' work, Take better care of the environment, please Stop with all the big plastic bags with few items, nurses writing notes with pen and paper. Medical records pen and paper still today.

Value the employees and their opinions. Concentrate on patient care and staff morale rather than census numbers and admissions goals or quotas. The fact that admissions goals take priority is sickening and everyone who pushes admissions like used car sales should be ashamed of themselves.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Interviews are thorough and truly cover all of the aspects of the job.
It was thorough, they asked all of the questions that would help them determine if I was a good candidate, and it gave me perspective of the job, roles and responsibilities.

have set questions and be mire professional. Don't ask how much you want to get paid!
It changed a lot from when i started but from what i have heard it is tedious and painful and managers are barely able to devote enough attention to new hire onboarding. Excessive ongoing requirements to tout a failing company culture

My coworkers are amazing and collaborative .

Poor management and leadership leading to higj turnover and poor patient care
no leadership with management and upper level managers who underpay amd undermine
Poor staff retention, poor office vibe
the leadership is all home-grown with community college degrees who have just been there so long they've been promoted to high positions and they don't value new people with more education and ideas
