What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Getting individuals that are responsible for their jobs!
Safety is not a priority as preached. Quality is embarassingly poor. Costs are not a concern. Productivity is the ONLY concern and goal.
Not enough trying for new hires so we get alot of errors
Change management asap you will see a change I would bet my life on it
The equipment needs to be fixed

It's all about your leadership and training! People DO NOT have confidence in unqualified supervision. Being proactive and making timily decisions is the key to success. Untrained and unqualified supervisors is a recipe for disaster and that is exactly what's happening in your plants!
Start giving raises to people who deserve it. And stop putting random people in management that dont know anything.
Happy workers make a great product not miserable ones
Managers that actually care about something other than producing we had a top 10 plant but not anymore we are sinking fast. I started 10 years ago and it was hard to get a job here and now we hire bottom of the barrel. Even if Westrock had to pay a lot more per hour it would get better people.

WestRock bought out the old company. This is who they are toxic to employees. They do drug tests all the time trying to fire people. I have never experienced a company like this. I am going to retire early just to get out of this environment.

Leadership talks poorly about the people on the plant floor. They talk poorly about each other and smile at each other. Zero trrust in the capability of the leadership.

Ask Corporate, they have all the employee surveys.
I'm tired of being in the petty squabbles between management and employees. Wish there was more teamwork. Wish my supervisor has more insight on how the department functions. Stop taking advantage of people.
