I've grown so much during my time at this company. It's small enough where you can be involved in lots of things (and pick up a variety of skills) and be aware of what everyone else is doing too. The culture is really kind and encouraging.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone is friendly and genuine. People work together to get things done efficiently. There's no drama, differences of opinion get sorted with a flexible attitude and spirit of experimentation.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The leadership team is super approachable. I get the sense they really care about the company's mission and my growth + job satisfaction. I also love that it's a women-led team (the CEO and COO are both women). They're amazing leaders.

What did you like most about the interview process?

I got to talk to a variety of people at the company and understand more about how the company works. Usually it's just HR and the department you're in but with this company I got to talk to a real cross-section of employees.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

There's an attitude at wikiHow of "small team doing big things" that's really energizing. Everyone has a bigger picture in mind, versus at other companies people seek individual credit or say stuff like "that's not my job". Feels like mission plays a much bigger role than ego at wikiHow.

What makes you most happy at work?

I like being given opportunities to learn and grow. I get to see what other people are doing, and co workers are happy to answer my questions or jump in and help me with something I'm trying to do. If I feel stuck, my manager works with me to find ways to make work more engaging.
