It's gotten worse over the last few years. A lot of good people who know their jobs have been let go for budget reasons. We're outsourcing departments that shouldn't be outsourced and the customer experience has gotten worse. Profit is all that matters to the higher ups.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My direct manager needs to take responsibility and follow through on what he's supposed to do.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team really looks out for each other. We're willing to help each other and pool our knowledge to be successful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our team hasn't had raised in three years. The health benefits are terrible. We need real answers about raises and bonuses.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
We need more honesty from leadership. They need to listen to feedback without getting defensive or telling people to find another job if they don't like it.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that they seemed excited about hiring me. They were looking for someone who could do the job, not just a person to fill a seat.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to be honest about where we are as a company. They also need to fix issues with billing and order systems instead of migrating to new systems and losing the existing records.
