Asked to the Engineering Department at Windstream

  • The leadership team isn't qualified to lead. There is very little to no communication on company goals, lots of layoffs and the team being formed is all from EarthLink management, the modem bank company. They have no idea what to do with a company that is 10 times larger than what their company used to be. We have 100 people every day sitting on a conference call discussing fiber issues from the previous evening. Such a waste of time.

Asked to all employees at Windstream

  • It can be mentally draining because of all of the layoffs. There have been at least 3 layoffs that I know of so far this year and I think we may have another coming before the end of 2017. Add to that the lack of executive knowledge concerning the voice industry and it can be disheartening.
