Windstream Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Insurance, my wife and i are covered

Thank God for benefits. Health benefits, even though they have went up at least we have them.

The fact that i work from home

The rates of the packages

Annual bonus package and remote work

Top pay is more than adequate

Commission and 401K contributions lalala

There are a lot of different benefit options to meet your specific needs.

That i even have one!

Great hourly pay with added commission.

Salary is strong for my profession in the market

Base salary is in line with the market. Commission seems to be set correctly.

Review from Sales Dept

Compared to other salespeople in my market, I believe I have one of the better comp plans in the market. Again, I speak only for my team and my market.

Review from Sales Dept

I never have to worry about something happening

Review from Engineering Dept

It pays the bills so that's a plus.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

New hires start at significantly higher salaries than employees with tenure.

Hourly rate should be higher for what we put up with from customers and upper management. Employees are worked until they drop, but then their insurance is so awful they can't see a doctor.

Review from Sales Dept

I should make over 20 dollars a hour for the labor and mid effort i put into my job

Because they do not care about their employees.

Higher Base Pay, wouldnlove if thy would pock up 90% of medical

Review from Sales Dept

If our compensation would be tied to our performance

Pay should consider local markets - Cost of living for someone in a major city market like New York or Philadelphia is much more than say Little Rock.

Company only thinks about share holders (now just profit margins, laying off people if need be to make their numbers)

no cost of living raises, no path for advancement, seeming constant reduction in the total compensation package, seems like your moving backwards just working for the company, the consent pending doom of lay off or being let go, the lack of security in the work place...

Offer lower out of pocket Heath benefits. Salary that meets industry standards

under paid and terrible insurance

Our team hasn't had raised in three years. The health benefits are terrible. We need real answers about raises and bonuses.

Review from Customer Support Dept

laid off, rehired at 2/3 the pay, still have not made it back to my 2013 pay after 3 promotions

Review from Engineering Dept

The company's compensation is 'fair' but promotion, etc., is very limited and political.

pay for women is not equal

Review from Engineering Dept

It is a little lower than average.

No room for growth they only promote people that have family within the company
