What do you like best about the leadership team?
Focus on the right things; people, strategy and customers.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Everything was managed within a short time frame. Decisions were made quickly and as far as possible transparently.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team have come a long way in the last 12-18 months. I can talk to any of my peers honestly and with vulnerability knowing that they'll help where possible, without judgement.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working for a company with a purpose, to help small business and the people that run and work for them. Coming from corporate life having this feeling of making a difference is what I'm looking for.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It's not all about the money although the share scheme is great as the tax is paid by the company. For me the benefits of working with Xero go beyond financial to the flexibility, trust and focus on team development. It's all the little 1% things.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone pulls their weight. Our MD talks about 'washing your own coffee cup.' No one is too big to make the company better by doing the small things like unload the dishwasher etc. We all do different things but the way we do it is similar across the board.
