Simple phone interview. Meet with the team manager, meet with the team to ensure candidate is a good fit.

What part of Yardi Systems's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Customer service is growing rapidly because of rollout of new products. Where Yardi is have difficulties is in the development of new products. Very little resources are granted.
Customer service is growing like crazy. Development of new products has a lack of resources.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Yardi Systems?
I would revamp our break room, add a pool table or something that people can gather and be social and active at the same time. Also it would be nice if streaming limitations were lifted.
Break room could be better, other than that no complaints. They treat us well and want us to have lives outside of work.
What do people at Yardi Systems think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?

Anant Yardi is a respected CEO and is a very stable, grounded individual. He visits all the offices around the world when he can and has excellent for sight. The only thing is that he is very slow getting back with feedback or approval simply because of the size and scope of the company.
Anant is almost a mythical being. He is very well respected at Yardi and is seen as a very strong leader. He is still very involved in the company and is always looking for what is coming next in technology. He could improve his accessibility as it is often hard to get a hold of him.
How's the work life balance at Yardi Systems?
Yardi is really focused on having a really good work life balance they encourage us to be active and get to know our employees but respect our lives outside of work. I have never been expected to spend more time at work or with coworkers than was necessary in order to be thought of as a good employee.
Great work life balance. Flexible hours, full time is 35 hours, and 15 days accrual PTO with 3 floating holidays. Never have had an issue with asking for time off. Paternal leave up to 3 weeks as well as assistance with state paternal leave for an additional 3 weeks.
How secure do you feel at your job at Yardi Systems?
Job security is excellent. You have to be doing pretty poorly at your position to be considered for a layoff. The company is also pretty conservative when it comes to hiring which means it's not overextended during economic downturns.
Does Yardi Systems have any remote positions?
They do but you have to be outside of certain radius of the office I think it's 50 miles.
How does Yardi Systems make decisions around promotions?
It's based on expansion of either new products or changes made within products.
How's the vacation policy at Yardi Systems?
Accumulative based on years at the company. Usually results in 2 weeks PTO with 3 floating holidays and paid holidays.
