The bonus scheme isn't bad.
If the company is doing well, there are quarterly bonuses! Never had that at a company before.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Benefits are slowly getting better, but still not great. No 401k match offered. Should be a greater investment in personal development for a company that says "every employee is a ZEO." Zuora can undercut on salary because the job application process is so competitive.
Underpaid for the position (middle management) but given a lot of career advancing opportunities and responsibilities

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most Zuora employees are smart, capable, and friendly, but getting inter-departmental work done here is a headache. Teams work with a narrow focus and aren't responsive to those outside their respective team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people you work with
Teamwork, feedback, personal growth, giving back.
The sense of openness. The SF office is literally an open space with no private offices. C-level execs share about their personal lives, and lower-level employees are encouraged to participate in special interest groups and charity initiatives.
ZEO Culture is fascinating - truly employee driven - ppl are not afraid to speak up and ZEO Success and other teams respond and take action.

less processes and more structure

What did you like most about the interview process?
I had over ten interviews and met with a lot of people who gave great insight into the company.
it was very smooth and comfortable

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Working in silos is frustrating and limits efficiency. I get pulled into random, unproductive meetings constantly. I get more done when I work from home.
What do you like best about your company?
The people and culture are the best. Leaders are empowering, we're getting better at setting goals and prioritizing and people really care about you as a person as much as achieving our shared goals.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Continued prioritization of strategic goals and the initiatives that will deliver on them.
