
Leadership does their best to support employees in doing their daily jobs. For the most part, the environment that is in place help employees achieve their goals but could be improved.
Some coworkers need, what they call, "Coaching opportunities" when it comes to diversity and minorities in the work place. Inappropriate jokes about race, names or anything for that matter should not be something that should ever be joked about.
One thing that I noticed, especially during remote work, is that the environment tends to be more lax and comfortable, allowing for employees to be most productive and achieve their goals. The 1st Quarter of 2021 proves that record breaking production is possible while working remote.
Leadership needs to put themselves in a position to actually gather productive feedback from employees. A lot of departments will be forced to come back to work full time in person which shows that their opinions do not matter. Listening to employees would make everyone feel better and heard.
The thing that makes me most happy about work is being able to work from home at this time. Being comfortable in my workspace allows myself, and my coworkers, to thrive and push past our goals every single day! This flexibility has proven to be effective as we see our 1st quarter numbers for 2021.
