XPO Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Fun place to work and good teamwork

The drivers who work together as a team to gather our freight load our trailers and get back to our home terminal so our trailers could be broken and delivered on a timely basis

They abuse you then buy you pizza afterwards

Collaborative, results driven, innovative, good feedback loops, customer caring

Everyone's voices are heard and listened to. Managers collaborate and make changes based on feedback. There's also a great deal of autonomy after the initial training period ends, but not to the point of feeling thrown to the wolves.

Looking forward to team building and togetherness on the weekends.

I feel that the culture of my location isn't reflective of the organization. my location is very friendly, open, honest, hard working - we are like family. Our boss values our efforts

Review from Finance Dept

Results Matter culture. I get motivated working for a company with a strong passion to win. We take managing the business seriously and although this can mean some long hours, it's worth it when you see the results.

Review from Legal Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

A little respect and compassion

Review from Admin Dept

Management to do their job and don't make drivers do the impossible

GXO/XPO boasts equality and fairness, but that is far from the truth if you are not the minority. White males that are more than qualified are treated poorly and overlooked so that the company can hire the minority that are not qualified so they can fill their status quo. Management are working 12

Review from Operations Dept

New ownership to replace the current

Review from Operations Dept

Supervisors and managers need to be considerate of peoples outside lives and priorities outside of work.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Start provide the financial benefit to the people who is working from home. Start yearly bonus instead of RNR. RNR winner should not be any team leader, manger it should be the employee who worked hard.

Review from Operations Dept

More life in the work life balance. We can't do anything right in the field. No positive reinforcement. Leadership doesn't care how many hours or how many days a week you work. This business model is NOT sustainable. Turnover in salaried ranks is high and not being addressed.

Review from Operations Dept

A realistic work life balance and the ability to hire enough staff to properly train leaders.

Review from Operations Dept

more employees engagement activities and rewards

Review from Operations Dept

good management. management behavior leads to demotivation. less liked in the team. less needed.

Review from Operations Dept

by having interaction and add fun games

Review from Operations Dept

Better pay raises more often. Better benefits. People working better as a group.

Review from Operations Dept

To be clear and what the company wants to do. That all what is sad is transformed in acts

Review from IT Dept

make sure that everyone is involved in whatever is going on.

Review from Operations Dept

Probably the change can come with the replacement of the CEO.

Review from Finance Dept

Try and get back to the basics/Working together as a team/Holding employees more accountable/NEED BETTER EQUIPMENT..... WE ARE Struggling !!!

Review from Operations Dept

Management needs to be accountable. pay raises need to come around more often. when have we all got a raise from xpo ? YEARS!

Review from Operations Dept

A positive and approachable direct manager at the DC. The site manager has been filling in while we do not have one. She does a great job but is very busy running the site.

Review from Operations Dept

We need to hold all managers to the same standard and expectations. Some lack the knowledge and frankly do not wanna learn.

Review from Operations Dept

We need to communicate new initiatives better by having a timeline, communication plan, involve stakeholders and leaders earlier. The field should be consulted before roll out. A true project manager aligned with corporate communications would be beneficial.
