As a team, we help and support each other, but that does not include upper management and/or area leadership.

The incentive and bonus plans are not shared equally with all the staff in our office. The standards and qualifications for receiving quarterly incentives is almost purposefully vague so that leadership has the opportunity to withhold those bonuses without questions. Pay for nurses is too low.

Actually being transparent, not just using the word. Area leadership and VP's in Colorado have denied us annual bonuses and raises in the past without proper explanations and then when staff raise concerns and make a big deal then we get those incentives, but not without a stink.

As a nurse, I enjoy helping the families. The environment in the office or around meetings is not necessarily positive at most times. Honestly, if it were not for the flexibility this job offers, I would be back in the hospital at least making a fair wage for my troubles.
