Elsevier: Overall, I feel as though Elsevier is a company that really cares about their employees, and does everything they can to provide them with the excellent benefits/packages, and wellness offerings. I have truly been blessed by working at Elsevier.
Fairway Independent Mortgage: Customer Service until today has usually been very good. But today I encountered a man who treated me like a piece of trash and that has changed my entire opinion of the company. 1 interaction can do that. It's a real shame. Every employee represents the company!

Esri: Since 2000 I've been working at Esri and don't want to leave! I love my coworkers as well as the management that's in place. I feel supported but not at all micromanaged. I would recommend working here to anyone I meet! :)

Elsevier: Elsevier is a great company, I have many oppotunities for my developmet personal and professional, I have a great team, when I can find help, support.
Esri: Positive. I like that Esri is a financially stable company so I have always felt safe in my job. I like that so many staff have been here for 10, 15, 20, 30 years and more. That says a lot. I have been able to move within the company to new roles, and move up to management positions. Good stuff.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions: Used to be good but since the merge between LNRS and DS it's been going down hill, with the RISK side making decisions based on "That's how we did it" rather then a logical evaluation ,people have left due to the attitude of RISK people, almost like the 'conquered DS' and we're second class people

This process seemed illogical and did not align with the rationale provided by leadership. It destroyed my feelings of security and longevity at the company, for an uncertain gain.

Elsevier: I was referred to my position by a colleague who boomeranged. They left Elsevier, worked with me elsewhere, and then returned. I am very appreciative of that initial opportunity. I now understand why they returned to Elsevier and I regularly refer people from my network to Elsevier.
Elsevier: The concept of servant leadership is strong in my experience. Whether it's my direct manager, her direct manager or even the chief of staff for the CEO, I sense respect and interest in what I think and encouragement and trust to do what I think makes sense for customers or the business.

Shutterfly: Shutterfly offers ability to download "Original" videos (through "Request Original" button). It DOES NOT WORK, and Customer Service has provided the same response for > 2 years now. Engineering team has been made aware and we'll let you know when fixed. Keep checking back but same response.
MITRE: MITRE lacks strong technical staff. Hiring needs to focus more on technical competency.

Townsquare Media: I worked at a local market of townsquare, and my local market was the absolute greatest. Your experience will heavily depend on your team and your market since each is so different. Some are heaven on earth and some are awful (apparently.) I'm lucky and only experienced the good.
Illumina: Illumina is a company that cares about their employees. Illumina strives to be better every day. They are not immune to macroeconomic conditions and have struggled at times, but they do whatever they can to keep employees happy and valued.
Elsevier: Although the company is old and sizeable, there is a genuine desire to transform itself into a technology powerhouse while making a positive impact to society.
Salesforce: Overall it has been a very positive experience. I have yet to have a doubt about my decision to join the team

Build-A-Bear Workshop: I have only ever dealt with the employees working in stores, so i can not speak for experiences with the higher-ups. However i can say every interaction i have had with employees at the store was lovely.
Stanley Steemer: They confirm appointments for certain times, and continually miss the window causing customers to miss work, and do nothing to make any accommodation.
Cadence Education: It starts with management and they lead by example. Bad management makes it hard to keep good if not great employees. Bad attitudes, lack of customer service skills, doesn't show up on time to work on time.. Location I am at is losing employees and customers due to the above.
Elsevier: Joining Elsevier has been my best career move to date. I'm really happy to be working at such a large, international company that has so many supports in place for employees to help with the work-life balance.

Allowing free transfers to other schools without an interview, transfers should be solely based on qualifications and seniority. If York Region can do it, then so can DPeel. Hardly any money for classrooms.

athenahealth: It is a very good company, and the people are amazing. The product is amazing and they are genuinely invested in us. I happen to have a really bad boss right now who is an awful manager. I got one bad egg, but most are great.
HERE Technologies: Listen to the employees and stop trying to pad the investors pockets. Stop laying off SO MUCH. Survey then layoff. Its not a good feong to think about the next layoff and the next layoff.
