Direct team and department are great. Inter-departmental interactions are strained and often adversarial. Lack of recognition for the team/department. Lack of clear direction/vision for our department from exec leadership. Unclear expectations and metrics for success from departmental executive.

Salary comps less than market values, and reasoning has been that there are intangibles that are not reflected in total comp. These differences in perks are less meaningful in our current remote/hybrid environment and no adjustment to comps to reflect this situation.

They need to act on feedback and move quickly on personnel issues when there are problems that drive down morale or are increasing departures due to bad managers. There's a lack of cooperation across different teams and an increasing adversarial nature to interactions that seems to be more frequent.
