This year is my 31st year at UL, but grew up UL since my Mom worked here. I have always believed in what UL stood for and love the changes Jenny has made. I think what makes UL different from other places is people are here because they believe in the mission, not to just to collect a check.

I think all of it actually - the insurance, the AEIP bonus, the 401K, the pension (I started when we still had those), the flexibility, the vacation. All of these things are better than any job I had previously.

I believe they truly believe and stand behind the mission and initiatives at UL. They are willing to change to reflect changes in the world. They really believe in work-life balance and are flexible. How UL handled the past year is a perfect example of flexibility and family-life balance.

We work well together and assist each other as needed. We communicate openly. We also make time to do fun things together for lunch or after hours. Virtual trivia during this past year. Our connection doesn't end at the end of our work day. We also support and share our personal lives. FAMILY.
