Upper management needs to become more aware and hear from those who are within the lower ranks of the company. Step up meetings or those from lower ranks should meet with upper management so that they get a more accurate picture of the working environment and daily activities.

Health coverage is above many other companies. I have compared. Paid time off is above and beyond; sick leave, Covid-19 coverage, volunteer time off, paid vacation and the best of them all, FMLA and paid time for short term disability.

Looking back to 23 years ago, I was interviewed by a very personable HR recruiter and she was a wealth of knowledge about UL. The manager that hired me was a true public safety man. He instilled in me the respect for the UL Mark.

They seem to be following a que card of questions. The time it takes to getting hired is way to long on the average it has taken 2 to 4 mnths. Contact made to interviewee with yeah or nah for acceptance would be courteous.
