The work we do is geared toward a better and safer world. My colleagues are the best. Everyday is a new adventure.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The transparency, team meetings and one on one discussions. The wealth of information that is available gives us an opportunity to choose our path along side with UL's growth.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The knowledge sharing, collaboration on projects and always available to help. I am part of a global team, representatives in various time zones, and I know there is always someone available.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Health coverage is above many other companies. I have compared. Paid time off is above and beyond; sick leave, Covid-19 coverage, volunteer time off, paid vacation and the best of them all, FMLA and paid time for short term disability.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The professional friendships, the diversity and the willingness to share knowledge, encourage and motivate. I have had amazing mentors in the 23 years I have worked at UL, and they are the ones I am very grateful for may professional growth.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Looking back to 23 years ago, I was interviewed by a very personable HR recruiter and she was a wealth of knowledge about UL. The manager that hired me was a true public safety man. He instilled in me the respect for the UL Mark.
