Take care of your people. CEO says one thing but does complete opposite the next. Rather than letting workers go, consider reassignment. They have value that can be used elsewhere.

Take care of your people, don't make them feel like you're hiding something. If you promised them something, follow through. Don't send us gifts like pen and lunch bag, all those costs money, give us raises instead...
