Everybody works hard. You have to work hard to get the job done. There is a strong mentality of "everyone is in it together." That is rewarding and motivating to know that you do have support.

I think that better development of supervisors and managers to understand the financials and service impacts of their actions is critical. More support and time spent on developing those skills can translate to a better communication flow for the entire group.

In the Higher Education Division, you need to take into consideration that downtimes around school breaks are a huge reward and make up for longer hours during peak times. Compensation is adequate. It's not great, but fair for the work required and skill level

The coworkers aren't necessarily given the best opportunities to succeed. Due to the nature of the industry, once you get behind, it's very hard to get caught up. So many of the coworkers are never able to grasp the business because they are always struggling to keep pace.
