Unable to staff it appropriately. Need to beef up availability, prn pools. Centralized staffing office is ineffective. You are better with unit based staffing. To much micromanagement.
Some Upper level management are inexperienced and have not demonstrated ability to lead. All talk, no action. No visibility. You have to come out of the ivory tower to see the light.
Following through with the agendas and plans made at meetings to improve quality care and get a better sense of the clinical needs of the operation in relation to the staffing / acuity. To much bean counting by upper level management who are clueless clinically but are cost driven.
