    They're working on being more work-life balance friendly. We still see stories about people who return to work the day after their wedding, or picking up every shift, so what's being recognized is still 24/7 commitment to the company. We're at least on a first name basis, and they at least talk about diversity -- if not action it (one or two women on the executive committee, lack of ethnic diversity at the director and above levels).

  • You need to go in depth to what you mean what the policy is. You get 3 late ins or out per month. Attendance and adherence must be at 97% each month or you will get a warning or wrote up if it's under. The first occurrence you get a warning.

  • There’s a lot of meaning about benefits, yes it’s a complete package for health, retirement, life insurance it is up to you what to get for your need. Other benefit you can stay employed to Hilton simply because of our company, managements, HR and our coworkers makes you feel family here my benefit from it is a teamwork in every department.

  • 401k (first 3% is matched 100%, second 2% is matched 50% so total 4% match if you contribute 5%). PTO is very generous, 20 days for the first year, 25 days for 2-9 years, 27 days for 10-14, and 30 days for 15 years or more. Hotel benefits are great, $35 for focus service, up to $55 for full service for team member travel. Family gets 50% off.

  • Do your homework on yiur specific location you are considering. My experiences in Dallas and Santa Fe were amazing. Charlotte and Cincinatti nightmares. Hilton is a brand that people pay for. THATS IT! Unless you at a corp managed property the logo and employee handbook is all they share in common. Some franchise locations are amazing to work at. It all depends on the management company. Do your homework! I wish I had.
