The company that was described to me during the recruitment and interview process is not the company that I am working at. It feels like I have brought my career here to be stagnated, even if I do my best to consistently output good and useful work. This overshadows anything I can feel "good" about.

Overall, a not so great experience. A lot of my learnings are what not to do in a certain situation. I'm grateful to learn from my peers and grateful for a job overall. I have hope that Mixpanel can turn it around and that turnaround starts with leadership and management.

The people here continue to be the shining star of the company, the culture and environment are driven by this.

I don't necessarily hold out hope that I can achieve true career growth here/have my career managed well at a baseline. Do different or better management training, hold management more accountable and treat roles as equals!

I am in a role that consistently feels undermined and I know that I'm not the only one that feels this way. I would feel better about my compensation if I knew that I could trust my growth to be properly managed.

Overall, Mixpanel is a toxic environment. I know this sentiment is shared by many people at the company. There is an unfair balance in recognition, a strong air of indecision, exclusion and hypocrisy from management. Mixpanel has a good product and great people, it's a shame to see it all wasted.

Everything about the way the org is run seems to have something that needs to get better. Treat roles as equals as all contributions contribute to the greater mission. Take better care of the people who are here. It's very sad to hear more and more about how people feel about being at Mixpanel.
