When it's a difficult period at the company (now being a good example), being honest about the difficult of the situation and not sugar-coating issues. Particularly with regard to employee attrition, there's a sense of ignoring a problem that borders on deliberate.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was hoping to be considered for a promotion and a raise, but manager volatility basically eliminated that possibility, as no one person had a holistic view of my performance over the half.

More equity. The cash piece is fine, but I think our rigid refresh policy that doesn't take into account current FMV (especially for cases where the option strike price is higher than FMV) is unfair

I explicitly know what my same-leveled coworkers make; I make 12% less. I addressed this with my manager and HR and, in spite of an acknowledgment that I was making a below-market salary, was informed my salary would not change. Having my work at the company respected via a fair salary would help.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I really enjoy most of my coworkers, but one has been extremely difficult to work with, and it doesn't seem like feedback I give to her manager has been passed along or had any impact. I think it would be helpful to have consistency in how feedback is handled across epd.
